Founded in 1948, Leong Wai Kei has been a
prominent establishment in Macau for 75 years. Now in its third generation, the
family-owned business has always been guided by the principles of "never
forget our original intentions" and "pursue genuine delicacies."
Initially, they started by selling live fish and fish meat. In the 1960s, they
relocated to Complexo Municipal do Mercado de S. Domingos, where they
specialized in selling fish meat and homemade fish balls. In 2015, they opened
a refrigerated food store, continuing their ancestral craftsmanship and
focusing on a diverse range of seafood products, including their famous
homemade cuttlefish paste, fresh shrimp paste, fish paste, fried crab claws,
cuttlefish cakes, stuffed fish balls, and more. All their products are made
with genuine ingredients and traditional artisanal techniques. Leong Wai Kei is not only a trusted supplier to many Michelin-starred restaurants but
also a beloved local seafood shop for the people of Macau, who have been
enjoying their products since childhood.
